Prefolds are the least expensive choice in cloth diapers and they require waterproof outer covers making them a three piece diapering system (diaper, cover, closure for diaper). Still widely used today, flat and prefold diapers is the simple choice for cloth diapering. But these cloth diapers have other uses as well; as doublers or pocket stuffers.
